Fractional CO2 Lasering

Fractional CO2 Laser is a fractional or “pixilated” carbon dioxide (CO2) laser and is the latest advancement in non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatments. The technology of CO2 laser excels at treating deeper wrinkles, more severe textural changes from sun damage, wrinkles, blotchiness, acne scars, and surgical or traumatic scars.

How it works

How it works is it removes only a percentage of the surface by puncturing tiny holes in to the skin surface with the use of the CO2 laser and the deeper skin cells then remodel themselves around the lasered areas over the following weeks which provides the platform for new collagen to form, tightening the skin and diminishing signs of aging.

The laser is guided over your skin for 15-20 minutes per session to stimulate skin rejuvenation.  The treatment is a gentle non-invasive procedure, however the use of numbing creams may be used on more sensitive areas and it feels warm and a little prickly but is not painful.

Other cosmetic treatments such as botox, dermal fillers, IPL are compatible with CO2 laser.  You may even find the results you achieve from CO2 Laser mean other procedures are reduced.

With Fractional CO2 Laser in many cases, the most effective results are generally achieved over a 3-treatment plan with 4 – 6 week intervals.
